To be serious about it, I think it's a new photo editing software. Probably an upgrade of the current silky pix that goes with the camera when you purchase one. If it is, I hope it will run in Ubuntu.

Ricoh keeps teasing. It's a very necessary thing to do in order to limit the leakage of Pentaxians to Nikon or Canon. Today, Ricoh definitely needs a urgent boost to roll out their product line, due to the fact that some of the newest Tamron and Sigma product lines are not available for the Pentax mount. For instance, it's a pity that if we'd have a Nikon or Canon mount camera, we could have all focal length (full frame) covered with new and stabilized glass from 24mm to 600mm with three zooms: 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 150-600 f5.6, which basically cost 1000 Euros each, i.e half the price vs Nikon,Canon or Pentax lenses.

When the FF arrives, there will also come more choices from Tamron, Sigma etc. They are watching the steps from Pentax/Ricoh.

If anything I suspect it is related to 645Z. Not sure if it is software or hardware though.
Maybe Pentax first FF DSLR will be with 645 mount.

Certainly hope it isn't the mount changing that would suck and blow at the same time.
