Bugs are guaranteed, particularly if the system has a lot of newness in it. So I really hope Ricoh take the opportunity to throw every test they can at their new flagship FF (ie K-mount computer) before it hits the stores.

Yes Ricoh surely doesn't need a K-3 fiasco with the FF body.. it seems this is why there aren't many willing to take on much risk.. the market is so tight already that one false move could be over the cliff. dooooom. haha

But it also seems they ARE really looking into this.. if the 70-200 is any model..

I need some fresh excitement for this release to tide me over so I don't go out and do something stupid like buy an XT-1 or a D810 or another Profoto B1. (holy run on sentence batman) More money than brains right now... or impatience for something new and exciting lol. I blame my boss for wanting to give me bonus money :P

you get a media pass to the same show that Kenspo is at when he starts testing. then you get someone to distract him, cut the camera strap, grab, and run like hell. I don't recommend this course of action however. Just saying thats probably the easiest way to do it.

More seriously, I think it's basically too late for beta testing. That's done. They are supposedly two months away from product launch. They are probably cranking out fully working 'pre-production samples' ready for distribution to the camera media (and Pentax insiders) world-wide as we speak.
