But the "hole" in the bank account would be noticed ...

NB - she does notice all those "other" film brand cameras lurking in my storage area ...
Haha, a month ago, when I told her, hoping she would not get too angry, that I bought yet another camera (my GR) she replied: 'So you're back to me! I thought I lost you.'

Imagine my surprise

Huh. 42 days until Frames.

Thinking. Thinking. Thinking.
My guess is the plural is just an artifact of non-native language usage.

I'm thinking - they will announce 42 separate cameras, desperately trying to cover just a few of the different directions requested on this forum
Actually there will only be 21 different cameras, but each will be made in a Pentax- or Ricoh-on-the-back version.

(one camera and a few lenses would make several FF products, right?)

October,the sixth

Will be full of frames

Some precision [a date] but also enough ambiguity to fuel lots of speculation.

What I read into 'full of frames' is that there will be lots of FF stuff announced. Body/bodies, lenses etc. A variety of product.

Also 'full of frames' implies cinema (24/30/60 fps etc) - enhanced video features in the FF? Or high speed shooting?

Anyone has an idea of the price Pentax is going to ask for the FF?

I rather have still photography camera, no movie, etc. I do not use it for video.

We are all holding our breath.

The consensus among the know nothings is about $2500-$2700, but we are know nothings so that doesn't count for much. As a qualified know nothing I guessed it would be out by June. I missed by 2 months and counting. Proving I know nothing.

I will probably wait six months until it goes down to half because the next one is coming out in 2017.

That would be something, a Full Frame digital 6x7. "Pentax. Our Full Frame is bigger than theirs".
