Nope, that only applies to yesterday-tech companies, such as Nikon, Canon, Sony.
Canon is running behind with 14 FPS * 16Mpx = 224 MPx/s, yes that is true.
Nikon is even farther behind with 11 FPS * 16 MPx = 176 MPx/s (or 5*36=180)
But half a year ago Samsung had no issues with 15 FPS * 28 Mpx =
420 Mpx/s Transfer rate, about +100% faster than Canons flagship camera. That would be 11-12 FPS for 36 Mpx.
And that was half a year ago, a new camera will be faster as engineers build faster Chips every day.
The mirror on the 1DX Shows that the FF mirror mechanism can deliver 14 FPS and is no bottleneck.
