Tamron doesn't make that lens for Pentax, unless they are lying on their website. I'm not sure what the shop is selling, but it is probably a listing mistake.
Probably the 28-70 f2.8, I'd imagine.

I'd love to have more aftermarket options. If I can get that 150-600 from either Tamron or Sigma I will.
That would be great. Though I like the feedback of the Pentax 150-450, Tamron and Sigma Sport are WR lenses and have more reach.

I think the Tamron rep has been reading this forum, so now our speculation is coming back at us. The good news is Tamron will be bringing out more K-mount versions of their glass.

I don't know why nobody has mentioned it yet, but, Multishot (hi res mode) with the new 42 MPx sensor will be the landcsape photographer's dream.
But, if the rumour's true, price will be well over $2K (closer to $3K) so, not for me...

Guys, a 42mpx ff doesnt affect a 50mpx 645, the same way a 24mpx apsc doesnt affect a 16mpx ff. It is all abour purpose.

And they always can make a 80mpx 645zii with 5 fps and 4k/96fps video. They already own the mf market, maybe they should do the same with the DSLR filmmakers.

Indeed, once upon a time..... blablablabla Pentax, blablabla, Tamron, FF, blablabla, and they lived happily after.......

Agree. And 25 would be better still.

And dont be surprised if some of the new FF lenses are Tamron rebranded
I'd prefer that Tamron issue their lenses directly. Recent Pentax rebrands were more expensive and came with a lesser warranty than if Tamron sold the lens.

The Pentax 12-24 f4 has filter threads. The Tamron 15-30 does not. I hope Pentax issues an UWA zoom that has filter threads. Some of us still use that old-fashioned device called a polarizer....

If Tamron comes out with new PK versions of their glass, then Sigma will follow.

Of course. Any rebrand will. That's the way it works, unfortunately.
