DXO will provide 2 new sigma lens modules for K mount

Hi all !

DXO will provide to Optics Pro/Filmpack/ViewPoint users 2 new Sigma lens modules for K Mount by 19/08.
These lenses are the 70mm macro f/2.8 Sigma EX and the 105mm macro f/2.8 Sigma EX.

I'm wondering when they will get around to supporting the K-3ii ?

I've already put in a request here: DxO Optics Modules suggestion form | www.dxo.com and urge others to do the same.

The module for the Sigma 70 macro is already available. I just got that lens, and I knew it wasn't supported. So when Dxo automically installed the module, much to my surprise, I was pretty pleased.

Hopefully that is the Sigma 105 EX DG Macro, which I have.

But it is one of those lenses that you probably don't need a DxO lens module for. Not much correction needed. Zooms and wides are usually the lenses that benefit the most from DxO modules. Macro primes are usually pretty awesome optically.

Apparently, even if testing is completed, K3-II should not be supported before mid-september
More modules should be available in september, a lot of Pentax items have been tested during the last month !

I'll let you know when the tests will be finalised, including some lens intercalibrations. There should be an almost complete catalog. Pretty good news for Pentax users, and of course for DxO.

Nice i'm still a bit frustrated after the misleading first article about 645Z on DxO. Are you working with/for DxO in Paris Zygonyx ? Or just having good infos.

Good news indeed. I'm curious about support for the 60-250mm and a couple of others. Looking forward to that if they have been tested/added.

It seems that the 60-250mm is available, for your K-5IIs it is in the list of available lens modules : Supported cameras | www.dxo.com

That's excellent news. And it could be even better if Dxo would release support for the Pentax Q series camera's and lenses..... It's off topic, I know but is there any development in that direction?
