There will be an announcement about it on the 1st of Q.

The Pentax FF will come out when the Leafs win the Stanley Cup. It has been foretold.

They were going to use the Blue Jays, but then they got scared that they didn't have enough time....

Yes, but manual focus with the A7 series is actually much easier than it is with a K-3. I almost bought an Pentax A 50mm F/1.2 and a Contax 85mm F/1.4 just because I enjoy working with manual focus. The 31mm is an AF lens so the ring is really too loose for good manual focus. You need a lens that is dampened for manual focus to really enjoy it.

Now you're just being mean to long suffering Toronto fans. But I haven't been one of those since the Leafs traded Frank Mahovolich after they last won the Cup in 67. Sold him to Montreal where he won a bunch more cups, but Toronto, not a sniff, the money grubbing amateurs. Nothing has changed.

so it wasn't all 'woe and sorrow'... haha. mmm hashbrowns and egg mcmuffins.

I know a handful of folks who use egg mcmuffins and hashbrowns to drown sorrows, so this is actually a well-played move by Mcdonalds.

Me, I'm gonna start hawking K-3 II's on Ebay, to tide myself over until FF. Really wanna play around with that built-in astro-tracing and see how well it works at certain focal lengths and certain shooting directions... Hopefully the FF Pentax will also include astro-tracing built-in... :-)
