Why not, but 70-200 typically calls for wedding FF rather than APS-C folks.

On APS-C it's got an equivalent FOV of about 105-300mm. The 70-200-ish equivalent FOV is catered for by the 50-135.

A shame, since you mention that range, that 100-300 range ain't getting any love anymore. Sigma's was a nice lens.

Yes, but haven't there been dozens of posts lamenting the focus speed of the DA* 50-135?
