Seems legit.
I can imagine all these timetables living in a spreadsheet or a Powerpoint somewhere in Ricoh HQ.

Plastic lump -> teaser -> Countdown 1 -> Countdown 2 -> Countdown 3 -> etc, with numerous branches.

Since CP+ 2015 was when they revealed the first FF mockup, CP+ 2016 would certainly be a good place to reveal (at a minimum) the progress they have made.

Indeed, anyway a presentation in Spring seems wiser than in Japanese and Western winter, I expect test pictures of blooming cherry trees with 42 Mpix pixelshifted...hehe

I am pretty convinced that the FF will be announced officially softly and by feb 2016 for the CP 2016 show it'll be shown off there and pretty much ready for sales at the same time

Since the imagination has been unleashed with abandon after the advent of the Ricoh/Pentax 'teaser,' what do folks foresee for Ricoh's CP+ booth?

- Floor area twice the size of their last display?
- A floor show of Ricoh gals and guys juggling with whisky bottles, DA 560's and the new 70-200?
- A magic show where first you see the new FF, then you don't?
- Wall of colour made up of Qs, K-Ss, and FFs?
- Articial waterfall cascading onto a hundred FF cameras each sporting the new 25-72mm WR lens?
- Announcement of a new global network of Pentax service centers?
- Lots of real FFs for visitors to handle and try? Or lots of 3D FF print-outs for visitors to look at?
- ??

mrs. monochrome just brought me a special Hitchcock chest of drawers from an estate auction in which to house my hobby items. My lenses are in one drawer, camera bodies and accessories in another. mrs. monochrome also looked the other direction while I PM'ed for a new BC-90 charger and D-LI90 battery that comes with a complete K-01 / DA40XS kit as a bonus item.

All is good in the monochrome world.
