Oh and the bulls*!t about the postponed reasons by the marketing crew is really bad...
From cultural standpoint, the way Japanese and Westerners handle information is different, the same goes to respect of corporate hierarchy.

Indeed. When asked by Digital Camera Watch about the reasons for this postponement, the Ricoh spokesman said he was "not able to answer."

I don't see many Western spokespersons doing so...

Off course they are! Even teaser came 2 weeks earlier. I expected it on October 6th

Makes sense, and very considerate ... After all some second mortgages applications can take months to set-up .....

Could be. Contractor problem. But is it?
Considering that, how much they will be able to reveal this autumn if they could not meet the design specs by original scheduled date? (→ Ricoh stated "Market release, late 2015")
Not much, really, not even the price. Not even all the lenses they are planning to release, considering those already announced take, like, forever to launch despite debut, and working models, promises, etc. Postponement, upon postponement.
Are they up to the task to tell any truth?

If Ricoh wants to play like that, then they must tell us very soon what camera specs are. At least we will know if it deserves to wait for it.

I couldn't be happier with my apsc gear & apsc lenses from pentax.
But for those that want to go the FF road, last month, i' said: just wait a bit longer.
Now i'd say: take your bet on another brand..

seriously...

I am pretty sure the images are computer rendered instead real photos of prototype..

Good news is Ricoh seems to know they must show something from time to time. This proves they are working on it and worring if there is anyone waiting any more.

Such wailing and gnashing as Ricoh announce a technical delay in the production of their magic! In the meantime, here is a video for your viewing pleasure.

Sorry if I'm repeating some other wild speculation. At some time Ricoh claimed the new FF Pentax would be in some way "revolutionary." That might imply some new feature(s) or technology that have given unexpected problems during prototype testing. There have been problems with early released new Pentax bodies in the past (re: K3 mirror flap) and they surely do not want any glitches with some innovated feature(s).

Hey hey, no, they don't give any info to prevent people switching, so that the existing decisions of the customer base is hanged. For example, if they had given an official list of DA lenses FF compatible, some users would have made their mind and some of them would have been in a possible to switch to another brand. By giving no info , but vague promises, no-one can decide on their purchases, so, most of us have to wait and see.
