It's designed for FF, 1.5x less enlargement required for prints.
Exactly which only confirm what I wrote.

Great news! Looking forward to reading your first report (and even more important...) seeing your first shots (wide open ).

Hard to believe there isn't a review or preview out yet. Some stores have it in stock now. oh well, I guess without a FF there isnt as much point.

Go back a few posts in this thread and there's a link to some Japanese review. Pretty impressive, I reckon

My wife is supposed to get her copy in on Wednesday, but I certainly won't have time to shoot with it at all till the weekend...

I assume this will have very sharp edges and sharp corners at f/2.8 on APS-C (maybe the sharpest zoom available in Pentax mount). Therefor maybe Pentax can expect a decent number of sales from folks who plan to stick with APS-C.

Isn't this Tamron 24-70 f2.8 lens known to have onion bokeh? Maybe the Pentax version has been corrected from this problem?

Sorry just started a thread to see if anyone actually had it. I am itching to buy new glass and this is high on the list - oddly like Longbow I am looking to get a 300 as well. If anyone finds a review of actual field test please share.
