Lens Roadmap Updated

See the link below. The DFA large diameter lens is gone. That's it. Only a minor change...

Not much seems to have changed. Perhaps the 28-105 looks more like a 28-120 now?

the Nikkor 24-120mm f/4 is my most used lens on my D800.
So a 28-120mm would be a very nice addition to the future FF Pentax lineup.

The whole 17-70 APS-C/24-105 FF range is very useful for events and walkabout shooting. I particularly look forward to shooting my A 35-105 f3.5 on Pentax FF.

I think it may be a 24-150! That would be cool! Perfect to go with the 150-450

I actually measured the pixels and it shows up as 28-120mm (+/- 1). That being said, I think the reason why the ends as drawn as gradients, is because PR are not sure about the specifications :P.

Curious progression in the thread above: 28-105 > 28-120 > 24-120 > 24-150. That's what I call power creep!
Could even serve as a dumbbell progression at the gym

I just wish there were some purple dots in the planned lenses area.

Line is obviously longer on both ends than on previous version of lens roadmap.
On previous version It was clearly 28-105 now it looks more like 24-120+ (120,128,135)
Print error or another rebadged lens?

Or it could just be that the specs changed, a minor formula redesign allowed them to increase the range without altering the other performance, etc. Prototypes and in-development items change often.

A 24-120 would be even nice, particularly if it's as good as the Nikkor. My guess is, regardless of what focal range this turns out to be, it will be a ~$600 kit lens and not quite in the same league as the Nikkor. Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong.

My guess is, regardless of what focal range this turns out to be, it will be a ~$600 kit lens and not quite in the same league as the Nikkor. Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong.
