I know but can't talk. Did not sign an NDA but made a gentleman's agreement to keep my mouth shut. The wait will not be long. Be patient the rewards are well worth it.

There will be a few new things revealed at CP+ in february. Many from the scandinavian offices are invited to CP+ and i guess the same is with rest of europe too.

The FF is no surprise, but will be some more stuff too. What i won't tell, cause i won't risk anything. But you can look forward to february and stop worrying
I have to pay taxes in februari.......

I don't remember anyone asking...is that a capacitive screen on the back? Or is this under a gentleman agreement too?

Most of the specification have been discussed here on the forum. I am not sure what a capacitive screen is. You pull the screen out as you can see in the published photos of the mechanism. It felt natural and vey solid. The fact that you can twist and turn it in any direction was cool and I thought useful. I know a lot of people are worried about it being flimsy but I did not get that feel. It was a solidly constructed piece of hardware. I hope that helps.

Capacitive is a type of touch screen technology.

It was such a short time that I got to try the camera that I did not try that feature. I am not sure if it was there or not. I should have touched the back screen to check it out. But then again, I should have checked out a lot of other things too. Literally a few minutes with the camera was not long enough. Sorry no intel there.

All the FF brands have at least one cheap kit zoom available: - Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR Lens - Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM - Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS
Pentax has got three kit FA lenses already: not in production, of course, but they've got the formulas. How hard would it be to update them?

but it doesn't seem to be the best optically. They wouldn't want a shit lens for a kit lens, even if its a kit lens. It should be halfway decent.

Exactly. This FF, as i've said many times, are mostly aimed at pros..So it won't be much shitty lenses for it...

Maybe the Tamron 85mm/f1.4 with HD coating and WR will get a Pentax name.

I feel that's wishful thinking, at least that it's a Tamron lens. I'd expect a patent is placed long before the item is in production. But I don't really know... anyone here than can enlighten me on when patents are placed in the entire conception to shelf model timeline?
