I saw Feb. 3rd on an official Ricoh prezo I was shown. Obviously it was not correct. I hope the price I saw is correct. If so, we are all in for a nice surprise. Which could mean only one thing... when it is announced in a week or so, it would be available for immediate ordering and delivery. Can't wait to order one.

I would not bet my last dime on it, according to other informations it could be available as of early April and not earlier (but i wish you were right).

Pre-order? Where can you pre-order a K1 (or whatever the FF will be called)? I'm new to Pentax and may be missing the boat somewhere...

Dallas, TX isn't big enough for two K-1's in the wild! If I find a shop around here that knows anything about it, I'll let you know.

Kenspo, do you know if the K-1 will have an option for electronic first curtain shutter, as the D810, Sony A7 series, and Canon fullframe cams do? That is very high on my needs list to eliminate vibration when doing long tele work on a tripod (mirror lockup is not enough at certain troublesome shutter speeds).

Btw, i am really pissed-off by the AF non-disclosure of those who know about it.
This point is for sure a "win or loose" feature for this K-1, because there's been till now so much lagging behind who you know...
