Yes. Something big happened today. LIGO project announced first detection of Gravitational wave and first detection of black hole merging this morning. The event itself is detected at 9/14/2015 and happened 1.3billion years ago.

One of most exciting science events in our lifetime...
Amazing !! ... Einstein must have had taken a trip through time when he came up with this a hundred years ago !

We can tell Tokyo that you have not told us anything new!

If 36mp rumor and $1800-$2000 usd price are true, I think K-1 shipping will be delayed due to high demand(preorder)!

Pentax has the tradition to make larger OVF. Even Its entry level APS-C camera has OVF with 0.61x(in terms of FF effective size). Pentax K3/5 series has class-leading 0.63x among APS-C cameras and just was beaten by Nikon coming D500(0.67x).

0.80x will be even larger than A7r2 0.78x EVF, which is known to be very large and is current largest OVF&EVF. If only counting OVF, 0.76x is the current largest among current digital cameras.

I guess the final number (effective size) will be at least 0.69x (Canon 6D, smallest among FF). And the upper bound is 0.812x(Pentax LX)... Note that 0.76x will be as large as 645z & 645D's OVF! So 0.76x -0.78x sounds to be a reasonable bet.

It is large and bright. Now a days, I do not use film any more but from time to time, I will put FA 31cm on my LX, just to play with the OVF and test the wider angle of the princess!

Interesting there are FA31s selling for ~$720 USD on amazon right now...wonder if that is good old FA production or HD D-FA...he seems to indicate it is the regular FA ltds.

The FA limiteds have been in and out of production for decades. Lenses are produced in batches, with the same assembly line being rebuild for production of another model after completion of a batch. I have no idea much time there was between batches in the past, but I recall looking for a (second hand if need be) FA43/1.9 for a very long time. And then all of a sudden a new batch was made and I got my hands on a new copy in a matter of days. This was in 2007...
