'Surgery', 'dissection' .... Sounds like the Ricoh presentations at CP+ aren't going to be for the faint of heart.

Of course not. They are yet to officially announce it. But if it were the K3 II it would say so.

OK, I guess I missed that (I guess I thought someone here had added it), which still leaves them in a name trap. What do they name the replacement for this camera, what do they name the K-3ii replacement, etc.

Yeah, seems like Pentax is especially prone to that. K-01, K-S1, K-1: three extremely different models! I have to say that Canon's single-digit models probably have the least confusing naming conventions. If I hear 1D/5D/7D, I immediately know pro tank FF/wedding FF/top APSC (gross oversimplification). Now that has become muddled of course by the proliferation of 1D and 5D models, and the addition of the 6D, and the fact that all single-digit cams are FF except the 7D.... okay, forget I said anything!

Why don't you give some of them to Adam? He could use them as prizes in several of his silly circulation-building contests after the inevitable drop-off in posts in a few weeks once people stop complaining about K-1 features they wanted but didn't get and features they didn't want but did get.
