Sometimes I even use the "camera" stuck in my phone. Its small and convenient, but its a huge trade off in quality, so I try to minimize that usage. A FF camera will certainly perform best with high end primes, but that doesn't make the need for a convenient camera smaller. I will always have a compromise lens for those times I just don't want to carry lots of lenses. An allrounder like the 18-135 WR are on my K-5, despite its shortcomings compared to a series of limiteds. Its convenient. That said, other times I would rather carry a collection of higher end lenses and carefully select one for each specific task.
Just like I need and want a multi tool knife despite that I have a several large toolboxes of "real" tools. The small one are convenient and good enough for some tasks.
I hope the allrounder FF lens will have WR, focus on compact size and weight, but still be optically decent with an attractive kit price. I don't mind the aperture being f/4-6,3 on a lens like this, it will still beat the socks out of a phone camera and very likely be notable better then a Pentax APS-C with the compact lens 18-50mm f/4,0-5,6 WR. But to be a versatile allrounder I want 24mm in the wide and and at least 105mm in the tele end.
