Originally posted by Hattifnatt so if they release some new primes I would like them to be 50, 85, 135 etc.
I honestly can't see them NOT releasing a 50mm D-FA (non-macro) prime, unless they decided to go retro and chose 55mm instead. Hey, it's Pentax; they do stuff like that.
Though frankly my bet is for 50mm, as releasing a fast D-FA 55 might undercut the 55mm DA*.
They could always do something really weird and go all the way to 58mm, but I doubt it. What remains to be seen is the exact nature of the build - will it just be an upmarket DA50/1.8 (Quick shift, metal mount, WR and possibly DC), or will they also/instead give us some really classy, uber-expensive f/1.2 or f/1.4 bokeh monster?
