Preorder should be around the same time. The actual arrival depends on the pre-orders. If the demand is high, it might take long for the first round of pre-order to be fullfilled. Nikon used to use this trick to delay their products..

I just saw a post in dpreview:

The supplier has announced the product too early, so nobody will be in America before April.

The information in this thread has gotten far more interesting. I completely blew off the FF until now, thinking that it was going to cost an arm & a leg. If the pricing is true, this is going to be one heck of a deal. Here's to hoping that the FF is within reach of the regular guy.

The issue is that in last four years, almost no patent for (12-28ish) lenses for Pentax. I saw 12-24 F3.5-4.5 and 12-35 F3.5-4.5 applied five years ago.
