I donīt want to get too close into interpretation, but you do a lot of concert photography, yet say the "shooting in the dark" thing wonīt help you? Is there a part of "jaw dropping stuff" beside the shooting in the dark thing you donīt need or are the concerts you shoot all in good light? ^^

(Sorry for trying to dig deeper into the information, but tomorrow is soooo loooong away )
Most concerts i shoot are in difficult light read it this way; its nothing i need during concerts, since i always use more then 1 camera..But for other photographers working in the dark, it will be awesome.

Maybe that 'lightbulb' button turns on backlighting of all the buttons on the camera? Or am barking up the wrong tree? ;-)

Oh, I know what that could be.
The little "dent" above the k-mount is not a dent at all, it's a LED!
(I'm only guessing though.)

THIS would be totally awesome, but definitely useful as concert-photographer + any 4/3 able to do this - so probably we have to wait a little longer for this feature

@Kenspo: You know how to keep the tension high, my F5-Button will be crushed while waiting for the official specs in the next 48 hours

You're not just talking about the little light bulb button on top of the camera? Because this *is* one of the things I like most about the K-1 as we've seen it. On K-3II and previous models the top LCD backlight was always either on or off. Hence I would switch if off to conserve battery power. but in the dark that would make my camera a lot harder to use. I rely on the top LCD a lot, esp since I prefer not using the extremely bright rear LCD in the dark, and having to lift the VF to my eye every time I want to check settings is a nuisance as well... 25 years ago my Pentax SFXn had the AE-L button double as a top LCD light switch, a feature I have missed ever since I moved to DSLR's 12 years ago... It would be awesome to have this back!

So it's something that's useful for photographers working in the dark with only one camera.

People needing to change lenses (they only have one camera) in the dark.

Some device assisting in correctly mounting a lens on the camera in the dark?
