Yes, the multiple 'news' threads with similar titles is a bit confusing. Only likely to get worse. I wish people would restrain themselves when starting new threads.

I get images in my head of 15 year olds with severe acne and a can of coke at the desk thinking they can do this and then just be overwhelmed by the idocy of the users and in the end just give up and allow what I would guess should be somethig like 36-48 hours of total anarchy in the rumors and ff subforums.

Our mod team is probably going to be about the first folks to post anything since they probably have the official release ready to go as soon as the embargo lifts...

Visual indication in the VF of needing to focus towards or away when shooting manual would be neat. Having a bar on left and right of the selected AF point that would illuminate -- left bar means need to zoom out and right bar zoom in. Both illuminate/blink/hokeypokey when in focus. that would be super.

But I have no idea if we get anything like that.

Also some way to auto calibrate lenses in PDAF microadjustments would be nice as well.

I'm happy that I can go to bed, read for a few hours (hey, I know it's 20 to 2am, but if I read I won't get up too early and thus won't have to wait too long... :P), sleep, get up, eat ~~breakf~~- lunch, go out a bit, have supper, twiddle my thumbs and be ready to read all the threads. :P
My mum actually asked me today if I pre ordered it already... I suspect she wants the K50 to herself!

By the way,
Can someone explain what the fuss about the autofocus adapters for MF lenses is about?
I don't really understand it, you'll still have to change the aperture after focusing on many lenses, else it will have a hard time focusing anyways.. It's not like it turns into a handsfree lens.

Wise men all showing up with tripods, SD cards, and low-dispersion filters... spending all night alternating between pictures of barnyard cats and astrophotography of that weird shooting star... Herod trying to chase down specs of all the cameras released in the last year and Virgin Pentax left out and forgotten in the media cold...
