The rep at the show yesterday said that the sensor is 36-magapixal.

I guess that white dot marks a "null" position, so you don't change any settings by accident.

And Fx1 next to the lens ...
FX stands for functions you can assign different functions to the button through the menu.

Read them as f1(x) and f2(x) heh. (Function sub 1, Function sub 2)

The rep also said that the camera will have the resolution enhancement system based on pixel shift of the sensor.

I wonder if the screw drive focusing system got an upgrade too. The screw drive motor ought to be powerful enough to make the body torque in your hands.

Bad: the VF window looks a little small, would be great if it is like the 645 (digital or film) and 67 series where it is circular.
It's mock-up. Even not working.

Fx is normal nomenclature for "function" so I would read them as "Function Button 1" and "Function Button 2" my guess is that they are customizable and you can assign various functions to them. Likely each of the modes will remember what function is assigned to what button making the five user modes work with those buttons to give a high level of customization much like today's Pentax DSLR's.

Speculation on the Dials:
The lower right dial, it looks like it has a tiny display inside it which it's similar from the dial of Pentax MZ-S. I don't know, maybe I'm just seeing things... LOL!

Now, the other dial, let's take a look at what the modes are:
1) ISO - redundant with the ISO button, but maybe there's a new function for ISO settings?
2) CH/CL - Continuous High and Continuous Low?
3) BKT - of course, Bracketing
4) Grid - fast way to select grid style? If it is, I think it's overkill
5) SR - Shake Reduction or Super Resolution?
6) Crop - maybe settings from FF to 1.3x to 1.5x to 2x
7) WI-FI - Obviously.
8) - ? ? ?
9) +/- - Alternative control for EV?

Please my dear, be precise and fast with the autofocus, don't let anyone argue your the best DSLR ever built.

And please, please, be 4k and 60fps. Dslr Filmmaker are adapting the takumars and k mount legacies to their canons. Let us fill vimeo with astounding shots taken with those amazing lenses, witnesses of a time where light and photography really matter.

I'm so in love with this camera. And I don't even meet her yet.
Hmmm Enrique...That sounds a lot like a conversation I had with my first wife...which doesn't bode well for this full frame...although it will be considerably cheaper and my face will light up when I hold it in my hands...

For me, one of the most important questions is whether this camera has a Hybrid-Viewfinder or not. I'm severely hoping for it.

Aha, I like that Crop is on that wheel, it means that crop mode is user-settable! Hopefully even with more settings than on/off

And now we know the real reason for the delay.... that poor guy who writes the manual can't possibly complete the manual for a camera this complicated in the given time!
On the contrary, the "Getting started quickly" part of the manual may not need much work at all. Much of it can probably be carried over - the rest will revolve, if you forgive the pun, around the settings the new menu-mode dial offers.

Let us be honest — I was waiting a long time for this camera.

I personally think K3 and 645Z have great UI for DSLR and do their job nice. I always commended K3.

But I must say I am totally confused with this FF, and with your responses here: no one here offers any viable, nor smart nor comprehensive explanation why is this FF a step ahead in the future of camera making, instead of two steps back into the film era usability?

I only hear straight personal accusations, and slaps. Can you do better than that? Can you use arguments, proofs, show pictures, etc?

Come on guys, Nikon F4 (F as in film) looked knobbed like this!
Indeed, let's be honest! First off, before making judgement, let's wait until we can get our hands on one. After all, making judgements from pictures is a bit like Helen Keller trying to play hockey. If, after getting your hands on it, you decide it's not your cup of tea, then let Ricoh know by not buying it. That strategy works far better is much more productive than forum speculations.

I have the feeling that it packs too many things, Wifi and GPS ok. I don't know how many features are there; so; there would be tilt screen, WiFi, NFC, built in GPS, crop mode, on top of the features already existing in the K-3 + additional direct controls of the same parameters, adding complexity and chance of bugs/reliability issues over time.
