well, I basically see how my 2 year old son will take that screen apart.
(he is always around when I try to make some pictures and fiddling with the camera settings and buttons)
Your 2yo is a human and more than capable of learning things should you try.

The plant is in the Southern part of the Philippines, I live in the Northern part. But I do have a friend, also a die hard Pentaxian, who frequently visit the plant. I'll try to talk with him and see if he knows something.
You say that like it's a big country... But I guess islands do make travel limiting.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. There are clearly people around this forum who know the specs, but aren't allowed to say

I probably would hardly ever use the tilt screen. Low to ground landscapes of course but that's all I can think of based on how I shoot.

Haha.. Yeah, island traveling is limiting. For me to reach the plant, I have to travel 6hrs-7hrs bus ride to the airport, ride a plane for more than an hour flight, and taking a bus ride again.. Island hopping.. hehe

Think of the advantages though - plenty of opportunities to take a variety of photographs

I'll wait to fully have an opinion on the dials.. but initial thought is not favorable for giving up top LCD space for an extra wheel/dial. It looks like Ricoh is making this a hands-on camera body. Almost reminds me of a Df and a K-3 blended together with 645Z elements.
I'm very happy to give up that space to finally have three wheels to control all three exposure parameters.

Why this camera has ISO button, ISO at the wheel and ISO could be put at front and back control wheels in different shooting modes...?
If you set the unmarked wheel to something that is not ISO and you are not shooting in a mode where one of the other dials is ISO, you still need some way to adjust ISO. So that explains the button, and the wheel is of course so you don't have to give up shutter or aperture control to have a wheel for ISO.

Maybe under the mode dial? There's something there at least.

First thing I'd do when I get my hands on this is tape the swivvel screen with duct tape. Wondering how much bulk is added with this construiction instead of a flush back without swivvel...

IfI wanted extra bulk I'd rather have a pop up flash as that has saved some awkard moment when I did not bring the flash but it suddenly was too dark to shoot without flash and besides always carrying an extra flash is even more bulky.

as you know, children are very curious about screens, everything that's making a different sound as usually (af noise, shutter noise).
you can tell like 100 times not to do this and this.
they will always try it. (only to anger you)

but since this FF will be here available in summer/ autumn 2016, he will be more mature .

just wanted to point out, that the screen looks like a week point.

Wow, that's a serious-looking camera! Wonder what all the wheels are for?
