You know, if I were to take a picture with the K-1, I would prefer it to be equipped with an actual lens rather than to have the picture of a lens glued on the bayonet...

Well, it would be nice to see a photo of the whole mount.
See the non-crippled mount and screwdrive.

To me, there also seemed to read in some tradition about Pentax tradition of naming related to format "6 X 7" "645" so instead of "K-1" will there be Pentax "35" or "135" instead?

Also as previously discussed there is seemingly verbiage implying that "Pentax's" have always been SLR (or SRL's) could this be a hint that any EVIL K-Mount future will be a different (Ricoh) brand?

No matter what, they just need to get on with the announcement, it's more like band-aid than building anticipation at this point. (Though I do understand that after the announce date slid past a certain date, then it had to go after the holiday shopping period, which adds complexity.)

Absolutely True. It's fine by me that they use photoshop to create this.

Sigh. These basic flaws in marketing material, although trivial, do point to a lack of corporate attention to detail that is a bit worrying, especially for a precision equipment company.

Ricoh probably use the same sloppy team to write both their web content and their firmware, judging by recent K-3/K-3 II firmware quality.

Given that the camera is unlikely to be dramatically different from the competition Ricoh are doing very well in keeping the interest going without actually doing much more than show a printed mock up and a poorly written 'teaser'. Perhaps it will become a classic case study in marketing a product that has had its release date delayed

Unfortunately, after such long time, they probably want to be the best and top every other FF camera.

Judging by the appearance of the camera, buttons and so on... I think they're going after the big boys. Also Kenpo said... this FF will be aimed at pro's. But this doesn't mean it will not have a reasonable price. Would you pay for a 6D, or... would you pay a bit more for THE BEST FF CAMERA IN THE MARKET? come on Pentax... I have a feeling they will nail it with this one.
