Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense. Closer to the launch date there would be no time for fixing discovered issues, for making changes based on that feedback.

Reviewers should receive hand-assembled production bodies with Diamond Beta (fully-working) firmware well enough in advance of shipping to prepare articles for publication concurrent with shipment of production cameras.

Beta testers are like the men in black (all have seen them, but nobody knows where exactly), I believe instead that they are working on a project that must not fail, then hundreds of checks and maybe even small changes, then that will upset the future owners of Pentax K .... not worried about the name, but also the compatibility with APS lenses.

I am willing to make the sacrifice and test the beta anyone in control, there reading this thread. Absolutely will give it a real trial. Would look good in black and shades as well, if I do say so myself.

I am pretty sure it's just crappy translation, sadly.

But as it's rumour & speculation central, this, we could all chew on a 'maybe the crop mode setting on the left dial does weird things [on top of the expected ASPC crop]' bone. If going down that route amuses, that is. :]

I asked a member to make a real image to look like the photoshop I was pointing at. Basicly my intuïtion was right. The lens would Block the Pentax Logo.

Follow the image to look at his work.

The Pentax logo, given that in practice it is the "first" FF and size are higher, could be on top of pentaprism, would not you like? Canon, Nikon, Sony does not have problems!

Wait. You asked someone to make an image in Photoshop to "prove" another image made in Photoshop is not realistic?
Or you're merely trying to "prove" that an unnamed lens would necessarily obstruct the logo on the K-1, with a completely different camera and whatever lens?

P.S. One word: perspective. We're supposed to know about it.
