Pentax FF Teaser Updated

Just release it and let every one name his version. It is not the name it is the camera quality and features combined with the reasonable price.

I hope the rest of talking to concentrate on features and price of k1 because it takes too much talks about the release date.

The great unknown features to me are AF system, will it be considerably better? Viewfinder (how big is it and does it haven an overlay?) Processor. Is it the new milbeaut m-8m or another one. Screen. Is it a touch screen? Sensor? I am almost certain it will be a Sony 36mp.
Other stuff Battery. Still the same as the one in the K-7 or a new one? Connectivity? It'll have Wifi/nfc but will it be a workable thing? Pixel shift resolution, can they manage a hand held mode, like with HDR. Buffer? Will it be sensibly big.

YES will the AF let the 150-450 track as it was maybe meant to? that is my hope, & high FPS rate if processor is fast enough

That would be interesting if it came with velcro sticky area where one could draw the name on a pad and affix it to the camera. Today I am shooting with the Pentax 5d mkIV and tomorrow the Pentax d820. Now THAT would confuse some people.

That Chevy nameplate didn't sell very well in Spanish-speaking areas in the 70's.

And Mitsubishi "Pajero" (Montero in our continent) as D1N0 said, its a word that make reference to masturbation in some spanish speaking countrys.

There has to be more focus points and more accurate points then the k3 . From my experience the damn canon rebel focus's more accurately in low light...

If pentax competes with nikon and canon on autofocus and brings the viewfinder back of the k1000... oh man we could have a beauty of a camera.

Looks like the sensor is going to be the 36mp thats the rumor its seems.

I would still buy FF if it was less mp and it had the other features mentioned. (autofocus that works, tracking, brighter viewfinder, 9+ fps).

I could live without touchscreen or even video... The video thing is funny because pentax seems to use the same video software as a cell phone thats 5 years old haha. I want to see them come out with 1080p but I wouldnt hold my breathe on that.

Whats the price of the things mentioned! 36mp FF, 51+ sensor points (15+ sensor cross type) (fast tracking/processing), Split screen viewfinder, 100% view pentaprism, pixel shift, hdr, bigger flash cards, solid battery w grip.
3000USD? O/U

Continuous Auto Focus equal to or better than the competition. We've lagged behind way too long

Price point might be the same philosophy as 645z - shockingly good value. Features are still a mystery, but think in terms of more and better than you expect. It should be a very interesting camera.

I know we're getting off-topic, but I just can't let that myth slide.

I do like the interchangeable nameplate idea... if you wanted to be particularly cruel you could have a Pentax D400 or a Pentax E-7.

Back in the 1970s most of my friends were from South America. "Chevy No va" was a cute joke among them, nothing more. But they did regularly make fun of it.
