The only connection with ff is that this image was taken using a FA 100-300 lens but I guess that means it is more relevant than bacon or cheese. :-)

Australian marsupial sugar possum infant living on nectar in succulent flowers. Little more than 3inches long. Not a squirrel but sort of close. This is a wild photo not in a wildlife park, taken on bush walk near Albany, WA. The general shape of the creature may trick the anticipated squirrel mode into operating correctly.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild managers the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You shalt not touch the aperture coupler in the garden'?"

Some one from Australia, I think someone said they don't have squirrels there. Probably the only dumb non-native species someone didn't import there.
No - there are (or were) grey squirrels running around in a park in the centre of Melbourne. Unless the reptiles have eaten them all now.
Gratuitous reptile provided.

And the LORD God said:
Behold, the man is become as one of us, to remove the aperture coupler; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also the optical viewfinder, and live for ever?

Long live Velveeta!

Either would go well with a squirrel parmigiana…
Sounds great! Squirrels have that "natural nutty flavor"...... (Shot in Squirrel Mode)

What sort of squirrels have you got in Texas? We have red squirrels that are red, and American grey squirrels that are grey (or sometimes black) - but nothing that looks like that orange/grey squirrel

Could the squirrel people continue their conversation under this youtube video?

New rumours are not to be expected until 2016.

It would help if you had responded to some particular post. Otis appears to be a "Fox Squirrel", which seems to be the most common variety in the Great Lakes states. The thieving tree rats in our yard are of that variety.
