I wonder if squirrels were imported into Melbourne under the same theory that had people import starlings from London to New York City's Central Park, because a city park "needs" starlings. Today starlings are a menace all over the USA. A gang of them basically took over our bird feeder last winter; they weren't hostile to the other birds, but so many were camped on/about the feeder that the other birds didn't bother to try to land.

the first update was November 30, the second December 11, the third should come tomorrow. When it doesn't some people will say the FF isn't coming either. Then I will say their just home for x-mass and don't be a pessimist (unless they are on my ignore list, then I won't see it).

I'd rather it be inside the K-1.

I'd like to see:

- a hybrid viewfinder of sorts, with a rich LCD overlay that helps me manually focus (focus peaking?);

- some AF tech wizardry: eg more AF points, with some trickery with mirrors that expands the AF coverage across 80% of the frame, tied to new, improved AF algorithms, plus working face-detection in PDAF.
