Originally posted by jatrax I thought someone (maybe Sigma) supplied two hoods with some lenses, one for FF, one for APS-C.
Not two hoods, but Sigma make a lens hood extender (pic related) for lenses like their full-frame design 70-200's, to help their hoods work better on the tighter field of view of APS-C.
It does make a useful difference, particularly in reducing lens flare on my Sigma 70-200 when used on the K-3.
Such hood extensions are, however, rare. Most FF lens designs and hoods seem to work with little issue on APS-C (or the lens designers just don't care).
