Hmm, if i remember correctly, its 1/320, F/2.8 and ISO3200

I'd love to have a quality lens, but at 2kg it just seems too unwieldy. I feel sorry for the Canon guys lugging a giant pipe in a case, and the 24-70 is about as heavy as it is reasonable to dangle on one's neck. Do you guys intend to carry this lens around or put it in a studio or in the car?

Personnaly, i like combining pleasure and sports, so no problem with DFA* 70-200 zoom lens if it is really quick focussing and has IQ as good as shown by first samples...

I like having a choice for my different needs/moods/anticipated circumstances. Finances willing, a good 70-200/2.8 is a very worth while lens to have I feel. I took my Sigma out the last few days and can't believe how small and light it feels after the DFA 150-450.

I'll trade up my Sigma once the K1 financial shock has passed....for WR mostly.....

One of the great things about Pentax moving forward is that now we can have it all....... the choice is ours..... modern fast zooms or classic metal primes etc..... no more either or....hard choices.
