Ok, DxO cannot invoke any excuses now. I feel sorry for Zygonyx who got its stuff borrowed for weeks for this comedy.
Well, using the software i still appreciate my lenses to be earmarked in it.
Now my 645D is on sale, one day i will shoot with the Z or it's successor.

Exactly.
+ As i doubt Pentax has strong and interesting projects re. 645 lenses (fast f/2, leafshutter, T/S ) and bigger sensor, i start thinking leaving that format.
P67 system is quite good enough, even if not as flexible as 645, for my MF use

DxOmark try to distract Pentaxians from the broken promises of a 645Z sensor review by providing a review of Samyang 85mm f/1,4 on Pentax K-3II.

Does Sony have paied DXOMark to remove the 645Z test ?
I can't find it ! If you click on OP's link, the highest ranked camera is Sony A7R II...
It is missing from the chart, but the text on that page still mentions the Z.

That's what I said in my next post...

No, only in the text above the table :

In terms of rankings, only the Pentax 645Z with its physically larger 43.8 x 32.8mm CMOS sensor (nearly 1.7x the surface area of a full-frame 35mm sensor) is ahead by just over a half-stop in noise levels.
The first camera in the table is Sony A7R II...

Another promise has not been realised : january is over, and still no 645Z sensor test and rating publication by DxO Mark.
Even worse : the diagram showing the main data has been withdrawn from Sony's RX1RrII test presentation....

Very strange. The DxOMark side of the business doesn't seem to be well run.

But they didnt manage to edit the text.

I wonder what excuses the Dxomark-apologists will come up with, now.

I still bet they are actively withholding the results until a good 2 year timeframe is over and they have the results of the new 100MPx sensor and then can advertise a "medium format comparison". To the utter surprise of everyone the 2 year old tech then will not be leading anymore.
Basically the same approach dpr choose: Wait long enough until your beer is stale and then whine about it and compare it to the freshly served beer from your favorite supplier.

Yes, Beholder, I've never understood its defenders and adherents.

I just have a hard time believing that Canon or Nikon would care enough about Pentax full frame to pay DXO Mark not to release its results. And I can't think of any other reason that they wouldn't do it. Their goal is to sell software and plenty of Nikon/Canon/Sony users will continue to purchase their software -- regardless of who is at the top of the sensor standings.

I have no clue as to why they aren't releasing the data they clearly have, but I refuse to buy into a big conspiracy theory.

What is your theory, Rondec? Or do you refuse to have one?

One thing is sure, it looks weird, very weird, and other explanations seem to run out of plausability.

If here HAS to be a conspiracy my bet is the other guys pay a stipend and/or offer free gear for testing and Pentax doesn't.

Phase One are about to contribute Capture One into the DxO company, therefore the DxO guys do not want to upset them.
