True. There seems to be something new there in that image.

But I don't see any new front dials in other body images on the teaser site, like the (slightly brightened) pic below:

Core Values

Thought I'd stop by to read the community's reaction to the Full-Frame samples. Found what would seem to be the right thread, and got about 200 posts in before I gave up on finding any discussion of the photos.

Seriously, what the hell was I thinking?

Bad Photoshop, they had the camera switched off in the shot, and in post rectified the mistake. But they forgot to remove the knurling from the on/off switch in the original image.

An easy mistake to make, though it could be worse: remember the giant Pentax models?

Some years ago these things where enough for us to give these rumors about a fullframe camera the label "false rumor" made by some guy in his mancave.

Now is that "Nikon D800/810 magenta cast" in the lower right corner, or not an artifact...?

The mystery front wheel is only a bad photoshop job when they decided to turn the off button to on in post processing, maybe because they didn't want to reveal any LED indicators or LCD display information.
