Touch to focus is neat but how do you use it looking through the viewfinder?

If you forget about the battery grip duplication of elements for a battery grip which you can not get rid off ever and which makes the camera a real PITA all by itself:
One single index finger wheel like any lower level amateur camera (not Pentax though) plus a small joystick and a poorly positioned large wheel which is completely inaccessible when you hold the camera firmly with your right hand.
Try holding the Canon with a large tele lens in one hand and then adjust two parameters using both wheels. I can tell you, you will have parts of the lens all over the floor soon.
Plus the "joy" of the lonely index finger wheel being position in a way that you can only turn it with the side of you index finger due to it being so poorly placed as well.
As much as I love Canon's lenses, their body design is two leagues lower than Pentax's. Call it shame or PITA, whatever, but never ever again compare that crap to the wonderful design the Pentax guys came up.

I'd much rather replace the worthless video switch in the K-3 with an additional optionally used joystick.

"optional" because while the joystick is nice for fast movement, it is less precise and in many configurations a clear button press option is better..

New Pentax has new upper wheel and no joysticks. Canon and Nikon are reportage cameras for quick access to AF selection and all settings.

K-1 will be positioned in another way
Obviously It will be positioned between the Nikon D750 and the D810 (pricewise) Maybe it will be as good as the D810 better in some ways, less in others? Who knows.

We are not arguing, we are discussing what could be implemented in Pentax FF. You shouldn't be too hard on us
Exciting to wait the leak info, but so far we haven't received any. Care to share ?

I don't forget. I put this info just for information.

Maybe K-1 has easy and quick methods to control settings. Better than Canon.

All i can say is I very much like the appearance and compactness of K-1, whilst I hate those 1Dx or D5 ugly and exhibitionist's bricks.
At some point, too much complexity and assistance hinders pleasure...

It's pure reportage cameras and it works cool. Animal or sport shots made by such cameras are outstanding...

But it's rather expensive, very big and heavy. I don't like so big cameras too.

I can say i would much more use Fuji's ML for reportage.
I only would try those monsters when shooting wildlife in long stands e.g. in a hide, but not even through nature walks or "billebaude"...

A new photo was posted by a famous japanese landscape photographer T. Nakanishi, with the exif stating "PENTAX K-1 Ver. 0.99"!

The photo was pulled after being mentioned on digicame, but my google-fu is strong

See more here in another thread where it was first mentioned:
