Revamped lenses never appeared on any roadmap prior launch.

The 24-70/2.8 was on the roadmap.

It's not a (Pentax) revamped lens as were the HD DA Limited lenses for instance or the HD DA 55-300mm. Those were not on the roadmap.

I don't think they are in production since september. That was maybe a planning for the fall release. Way to expensive to build a 6 month inventory.

There would be very nice to see a bit reworked DFA*85/1.4 with new HD coatings

I think that new versions of the 85, 50 and 35mm f1.4 are comming soon as those are really wanted lenses.

Same thoughts here, 135/2 or 2.8 would be nice also-the old F135/2.8 is quite decent piece of glass- in my opinion in new HD coatings and little digital tuning it would be a magnificent lens for digital.

If the 70-200 was just a rebranded Tamron, it would be in production now. Clearly it is a Pentax design.

Good news about the possibility of Precision going away. They have been pretty miserable to deal with.

It will be these Tamron lenses, or one of them: Tamron SP 35mm and 45mm f/1.8: Pro Prime Lenses with Stabilization

Wanted by whom exactly? we have the 77 in lieu of the 85, 43 in lieu of the 50 and 31 in lieu of the 35. Higher up the priority list would be a DFA Limited prime in the 20-25 range I think, and not a f/1.4 but something more realistic of f/2.4 or f/2.8.

I agree. Perhaps an updated, HD version of the Three Amigos with newer glass coatings and such.

I've checked the local 24-70 prices and the Pentax branded lens is 2x the price of the Tamron (which I use on my D810).

Unless it's a star lens with aerobrite coatings then that seems a rather hefty price to pay for the same optics.
I believe the Canon and Nikon versions of the Tamron are in the 1,000 range these days. The Pentax is at $1,299. When I owned my Canon version, it had just come out and I did pay the full $1,299 asking price... and it was worth every penny.

I promised to myself if Tamron ever came out with the Pentax version, I would not hesitate to buy it. Looks like with the new FF, The Pentax 24-70 (Tamron rebadge) will be the ideal combo for most applications. Even if the optics are the same, it is still worth it. On my Canon the Tamron 24-70 rocked. It was sharp across the board, even at f2.8.

I went to my local dealer today and he was talking about what he saw last week at CES. There were a half dozen K-1s available for handling on dealer day.
He must have been dreaming. Pentax did not even show up at CES....

+1 on the 70-200. I guess the rumors of US based Ricoh/Pentax repair center might be true after all.

I doubt the 15-30 would have been on display. It hasn't been announced yet. It must have been the 24-70, 150-450, * 70-200.

The 15ish-30ish and 24ish-105ish will probably be announced next month at CP+.
I did not see anything we have not seen or heard about already.

Unfortunately true, if the DFA 24-70 or the 150-450 local prices are any guide.

[Memo to CRK: pls be nice to us patient Pentaxians. Set the K-1 recommended retail price at a level that will encourage current (and new) Pentax users to actually buy the camera.]
Get ready. You are in for a big surprise. If you want an FF, hang in there the wait will be well worth it.

I did not see the 15-30. I would hope they would release a rebranded Tamron 15-30 as it matched or surpassed the legendary Nikon 14-24 in most categories on DXO Lab tests.

I would like new optical design and new pictures from new lens.

I am not impressed by bokeh of this primes. I hope never be.
31/1.8 and 43/1.9 are better.
