that could come in handy when you need to put a cap on a lens with a deep, narrow hood on it.

Yup, with a built in ring flash, I'd be great for macro.

I think it's great. They're giving consideration to the elderly and people with arthritis (who are often not the elderly, actually). This sort of product and products like the astrotracer show they design from actual experience and think of the user as a real person not a product review website.

Think it's time to start a new thread, "why I won't buy a Ricoh lens cap"

That's the point of which I get hired to do such errands, although I have not been fortunate to be hired as caregiver to anyone with a great wealth of photography knowlgedge. "Here put the lens cap back..... " no it's all been: "Go to the store for fiber cereal." and "Can you get the remote to work." Just for once I would like to hear: "Bring me my extensive collection of vintage and new digital SLR's and DSLR's." Lol

I'm going to wait for the lizard leather and gold anniversary edition. Beats the 32 colors to match your camera body.

For one of our pinhole cameras the lens cap is the shutter.

IDK how good an idea this pinch thing is but I'm all for new Pentax caps. The cap that came with my new DA* 300 broke after normal use after just a few months.

Ricoh ????????????????????????????So-net???

I wonder what they'll think next...

Geez, I've been using Duct tape. No wonder my pictures suck.
