Sure and I agree, question is more if you are after low contrast pictures like biz-engineer or otherwise rely on tripods and picture stacking and then the reduced dynamic is of no importance...
Or if you like HDR, to capture wide dynamic range scenes
I admit myself that 50MP is not that interresting, in particular compared to 36-42MP and that the dynamic range may be more usefull, but that depend a lot on your practice.
