Anyway, the specs are good. I don't understand USB2.0 only.
I actually never use USB cable to transfer image or video. Just take out the card, and insert it to computer.

25 cross-type AF points - not 22.

I hope Ricoh realizes how lucky they have been having you help them. Your presence in the forum has done more to increase interest in the K-1
than any other factor I have seen. Sometimes it is necessary to let those people who, apparently have nothing better to do, that their whining
and complaining is not appreciated. Keep on doing what you do best!

Just been an hour in the phone with Ricoh..Now i know ALL specs and little features. There are a few minor disappointments..but there will be some new features that will make your jaw drop..and that no other brand has on their pro cameras. So get ready for some neat surprises
OK - we've had the specs (assuming accurate) and the minor disappointments - now the jaw-droppers - the countdown continues....

Fast USB is handy for wired tethering more than anything else, I think. Hopefully the K-1 supports that.

While the 36MP D800/D810 had USB 3, the 36MP A7R and A7R2 only do USB 2. So 36MP cameras can get by, I guess, with USB 2.

But if the K-3 already had USB 3 in there, it seems weird to drop it from the K-1.

22 cross points? Not 25? Strange... USB 2.0 with those huge files is even more strange.
Fps suggest that we have the same slow IMX094 as in D8x00.
1/200 sync speed is something new in Pentaxland - not much of the improvement, but always welcome.
22 being an even number is... odd (pun intended): it would mean that the central AF point is not cross-type.

I think it's 25, as in K-3 II (same hardware), but they forgot to mention the three extra-sensitive f/2.8 AF points, which are cross-type too in K-3 II.

Z-1 / PZ-1 / Z-1p / PZ-1p had 1/250.

That's possible.

Great observation... 22 cross points are odd too!!!

As I am seeing it:

- points of satisfaction are (i) shake correction efficiency and (ii) flash synch speed (1/200 for a 24x36 shutter is much harder than 1/180 for an APS-C one);

- point of dissatisfaction are (i) viewfinder magnification (not bad in absolute terms but I had higher expectations for a Pentax camera), (ii) fps, (iii) buffer size and (iv) no 4K video (not for my personal use but as a feature for a camera which is meant to be sold during 4+ years).

Viewfinder size is exactly the same as a D4 / D810.

The one thing to remember is: More magnification inevitably means darker.
There is always the same total amount of light to spend on the screen area.

Either darker or compensated by a more transparent screen (as with the APS-C-cameras), making it useless for larger apertures than f/2.0. At least if you want a realistic view of the DOF in the finder (or focus manually).
