Regardless.. I strongly doubt the ISO range specified is accurate for this sensor.

For what 50 iso?
For dropping the ND2 filter in some situations and increase DR. Personally have wanted a couple of internal ND filters in the camera that can emulate extremely low ISOs without destroying the brightest tones. Just dream of silky waterfalls in daylight, without the hassle of screwing on and off filers.

This is the point, there is no camera with real 50 iso and the sensorquality is at the highest point at 100 iso.
Best regards
K-5 have ISO 80 with better DR then ISO 100.
D810 have ISO 64 and that is also better then ISO 100 on the same sensor.

ISO 100 is not a magical "limit" or base. Some cameras have ISO 64 base ISO, some have ISO 100, some 160 or 200, at least that is what the manufacturers claim. In practice these ISOs are not accurate.

That is a bit strong. We do not know the price, we have rumors and info from members that their sources has told them the same or similar (asahi man and kenspo primarily) my own sources are quiet as can be, probably because they have no info to give at this time. And still, the price might be different from the one we have here
No, we know the price (with a reasonable accuracy).

24 MP FF gives us only 10 MP photos in APS-C mode.

I can't confirm. It's just forum's rumor of last year. Maybe asahi man said about it?
Nope, till today i have no confirmed information about the new AF System.
Only that the complete processor speed is much faster against the K-3.
Should be the same step like K-5II ~K-3.

Probably we can see a production model of the K-1 at this month's CP+, with the 1DXII, the D5, the D500, the X-Pro2, and Sony's two F2.8 zooms. The CP+ should be very busy.

If Pentax can deliver a gorgeously large prism, and AF point spread out around the viewfinder, I'll strongly consider dumping my Nikon system for the K-1. As long as the low-light AF is up to snuff, compared to the likes of my D750.

But for now, I'm still mostly assuming that I'll own two systems, one Nikon minimal system for weddings and portraits, and the Pentax system for adventure and landscapes and nightscapes. Provided the 15-30 2.8 comes along with the K-1, sooner than later...

I suspect that in the K3 processing speed is the bottleneck. If I follow something without shooting the body maintains sharp focus, but when I shoot it can't keep up. Either slow processing or slow data transfer between the various AF components cause the whole thing to lag resulting in soft shots.

There could be tighter points and improvement in low light or low contrast focus as well.

I think we're looking at big improvement for the latest generation of sensors.

- The Nikon D5 at FF is: ISO 100-102400 (expandable to 50-3280000)
- The Nikon D500 at APS-C is: ISO 100 - 51200 (expandable to 50-1640000)
- The Pentax K-1 is: 100-204800 (not clear whether this is expanded)

It will be interesting to see how these sensors perform. I suspect they are designed specifically for DSLRs, taking advantage of the more perpendicular angle of light to the sensor to isolate the individual pixels better. So they will have different characteristics to the 42mp sensor that Sony is using on it's top mirrorless models.

And now we have some product pictures of the body, including one with the grip from the same source. It's from the same website, and I think lends credibility to the other specs.
