Kind of you to preserve it for posteriority.

and complaining is not appreciated. Keep on doing what you do best!
Totally agree with you on this post. I am keeping up with the news about the K-1 even though I currently have zero interest in buying it or any new APS-C camera in the near future. Kenspo has provided so much info considering that his hands are tied as far as how much he can provide to us. For those who are complaining about the specs, how is this camera not going allow you to take great images? Not fast enough AF for weddings and yet the market for weddings shot in film is growing and I am sure there are few film cameras that will have better AF and fps than the K-1. And the price seems to be lower than expected. I sure hope it is a successful camera and those who purchase it enjoy using it and are sucessful and those that it will never be good enough learn to accept that .If it is almost as good as the Nikon D810, cost less and uses Pentax lenses and has some features that the Nikon does not have how is that not a camera worthly of purchase?

You'd perhaps think the pedigree of this 'spec' list is lacking ? Lmfao

Digital Camera Info have always been spot on, bar some typos once in a while, quickly fixed. Some specifications might be missing (e.g. NFC) but what's written is correct.

Even though they got it from a 'reader' translating the heading paragraph from the post .......

"From a contribution from a reader, we have provided information about the detailed specifications of the Pentax full-size SLR "K-1"."

So if I knock one up for PF it'll also be true ??

"From the direction of a reader": that's their way of presenting 100% bulletproof unofficial news. I have been following them for eight years.

That's Japanese; it translates to "roughly copy-pasted from an official specification sheet".

The K-1 is slightly taller and the flap starts lower than in the K-3.

Given you've nothing to gain and a reputation to lose if that's not true I shall continue, as I've tried to imply above, to wait in excited anticipation

Hi Kenspo,

What is there already is jaw dropping enough for me given a sub $2K price. Now we know there are a few more goodies not mentioned in the post but discussed in much earlier posts.
