Those are the words I hear Americans use, at least in my part of the country. I don't know what words the east coast, west coast, south use, let alone what the actual Brits say.
I didn't want to imply the terms used by Mistral75 are incorrect(ly used). I wanted to imply that I didn't use them

LED's are notoriously stingy in their energy appetites. I like all these homages to LX.

Interesting. So that we can see the aperture on manual lenses? Nice idea. Reminds me of old ThinkPads...

Agreed.

Overall, it does look great, with a lot of direct control. A couple of thoughts though:
  1. It's different enough from the K-3 to make shooting the two bodies together a bit challenging. No different than shooting the K-3 and K-5 together, which is manageable.
  2. Unfortunate that the focus point selection is still tied to other controls. Not a lot of real estate back there to separate them though.
  3. What's that Sun icon on the bottom of the four-way controller?
  4. Info screen does not suggest that it has been changed for a touch display
I'm not planning to get one right away but this is pretty cool!
As long as I can set it to have to press another button and then up to get to WB or whatever, and have the focus point selection be there otherwise, I am happy.

The video mode placement seems fine too. Accessible enough, yet not too much in the way.

Hmmm.

Good for attracting moths and other insects into your camera body.

Actually it's vertical and horizontal tilt, and rotate. Those are not the sensor's movement - which is moving in a fixed plane - but the motions the system is able to compensate for.

This is one thing that I've always wondered about the k3, how many axis does it have?

INTERESTINGLY, I wonder if you could do sensor tilts for interesting perspective changes like the existing sensor shift feature in the k3, k50, etc.
Would a sensor tilt have the same effect as a tilt lens? I've been wondering this for a while.

No. I two worlds, tilting sensor doesn't change optical math

But it could put the lower and upper part of the photo out of focus, like the diorama effect for example i guess (front and back focus)

Oh, ok. So the tilt lens puts the focal plane in an angle but tilting the sensor would just move it out of the plane, right?
