First thing I saw...

Look at the top (of the three) tabs on the mount it doesn't look right, it's got chips out of it...

It looks the bloody business!! Would like more focus points though - unless there are indeed more outside the selectable area... or some other kind of revolutionary focus mechanism. Really glad they seem to have kept so much of the K3 ergonomics which are darned near perfect.

Beautiful to see that lovely big viewfinder and utterly Pentax shaped pentaprism though!! The rear screen looks big doesn't it? A very lustworthy and sexy camera for sure and my wallet is going to suffer for that this year I think...

Wired remote under memory cards. The other side has DC-In, HDMI, USB, Headphone, MIC and PC-Sync. Wonder if same grip as the K-3 series? Looks the business.
Most likely not. This camera should be a bit bigger. I doubt the K-3 grip will fit.

Well I don't see an aperture linkage lever so I'd say the mount is still "crippled". And if light is passing through the viewfinder I guess that might shoot down the hopeful fantasies of some sort of hybrid OVF- pass-through LCD. How this would work with polarizing filters in the first place is beyond me.

Of course the photos could be fakes or a still a prototype/mockup.

I wish we had some video specs.
If the specs are close to the D810, I should be happy.
Please give us 1080p/60/120 at the very minimum with at least 30mbit.
Clean HDMI out, maybe 4K with an external recorder.
If that happens...I will buy two the day the K1 is released.

I've noticed "Fx2" in the second picture and "Raw Fx1" in the third picture. I'm wondering what those are...

Function buttons...

But what I really want to know is what those chips are in the top mount tab.

What's with the "lock" symbol above the Fx button on the left side?

Lock all buttons except the shutter button?
So you don't change your settings and continue taking photos without accidentally nudging settings.

Agree, Bert. I believe the 645z has a similar lock feature.
