I was thinking the same at exactly the moment you posted. Of course part of the reason there is more trailing around the edges is lens distortion, that cannot be compensated for by SR. But some improvement may be possible indeed...

Actually it's vertical and horizontal tilt, and rotate. Those are not the sensor's movement - which is moving in a fixed plane - but the motions the system is able to compensate for.

Those are the words I hear Americans use, at least in my part of the country. I don't know what words the east coast, west coast, south use, let alone what the actual Brits say.
