I'd guess that it has USB 3 like the K-3. .7x is still a nice sized viewfinder for FF, about the same as other current bodies.

So Ricoh bring updated D810 for pentaxians at reasonable price.
Thanks Ricoh that you make my beloved brand alive.
This is the first step in dslr ff market for Pentax which has been hesitated to inter this hard market.
Now we have our own Pentax full frame with excellent 5 lenses at the time/ 28.105.15-30.24-70.70-200.150.450/
Who need more!
Don't forget to mention the FF mode and crop mode in one camera.
Yes 33 af points not enough compare to competitors but comptatiors also don't have:

We'll see.

Performance probably will be adequate for most current Pentax shooters -- better than a K3 except for burst rate (it was never going to be super fast with a 36 or 42 megapixel sensor). I have said that this was going to be more of a landscape or wedding photographer's camera and not a sports camera.

Biggest thing is the balance of specs versus price and that is unclear to me at present. D810 type performance at a D750 price looks like a good deal to me, but then I don't really need high frame rates or lightening quick auto focus. The calculation may be different for someone else.

Hopefully the price will reflect these specs. $1000 camera? To me it's a K3ii with a bigger FF sensor and a few incremental improvements, however it's also gone backwards from the K3ii in slower FPS and a buffer that is probably the same so ends up being less useable pics with larger sensor. kenspo has already commented on diss appointing AF plus USB2 not 3? For such a large sensor a fast USB is essential. BUT Let's see what the final spec sheet and price says before getting too excited....

Rather than the bare, cold facts I'm really interested in an interview with the designers of the K-1.

Assuming a 36 mp sensor and dimensions given, has anyone done the math to determine the number of mp on a crop sensor the size of the k-3?

36/2.25 -> more or less 16mp on apsc crop

2.25 comes from 1.5^2

Here are the full specs of the K-1.
- Weight: 925g
Is the weight likely to be with or without battery and memory card?

actual crop factor is 1.52 I believe. So 36,4 (are those actual piixels or effective. We don't know)/1.52^2=15.76. I do know on the D810 it is 15.4mp.
