Maybe at Ireland it is so bright, but here at Finland, I'll have to bump ISO up to 1600 for that

I do not know how much more inconvenient it is, I have no clue if this type of averaging can be done in-camera. Its a lot easier to program than HDR, but I have not tried to find this function.
Even the "old" K5 can do that in camera. It's limited to 9 pictures. The K3 has a much higher limit though, iirc.

Thanks! It used to be goalies mostly but now our junior program has started to churn out pretty promising dmen and forwards too (R. Ristolainen in Buffalo, S. Vatanen in Anaheim, O. Määttä in Pitsburgh and the yet undrafted P. Laine & J. Puljujärvi).

I used to live in Toronto for a couple years so I got to see a couple NHL games...and I was there to see the World Cup of Hockey semis and final in 2004, in person
Love Olli Maatta! Great guy, great player. Okay, back to Pentax.

I'd be happy with ISO 50, but ISO 25 would be the bomb.
Just as a point of fact: I use this feature a lot on my D800, and I find I miss it on my K-3ii.

At thecamerastore.com they have '36.4 MP' as a search option under Pentax, but if you click on it to filter to only that resolution - no cameras

Cameras

(EDIT: And they have a price category for $1981 - $2500, also empty. Hmm....)
If it is 1981 body only I suppose I will have to place an order...

Thanks! Now I can actually start using the theory and do some silky water shots myself with my near-antique K-5!

925g is not the lightest of the 36×24 body options - but it surely could be worse.
Yes I said surely!
And it's the lightest durable body, no doubt!

That is even better for me. I have 2500 USD in my FF fund. I may have money left over.

What explains mainly the weight differences (with lighter Canikons) :
- IBIS approx. 50g
- AF body engine approx 20g
- chassis and envelop components approx 60g
- GPS sensor and electronics approx 20g
