6000? Really? That would be cheaper than the 16-85! But that's perhaps excluding VAT?

The DA 18-55 f/3,5-5,6 WR is about 1500 NOK with tax, but bought in a kit its only about 1/3 of that. Can we expect the kit price for 28-105 f/3,5-5,6 to be significantly lower then 6000 NOK?

Again from Digital Camera Info

HD PENTAX-D FA 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR

- HD coating
- Optical formula: 15 elements in 11 groups
- Minimum focusing distance: 0.5m
- Maximum magnification: 0.22x
- Filter size: 62mm
- Number of aperture blades: 9
- Drip-proof (WR)

105mm and 0.5m focusing is really good......
So is 9 aperture blades if its not rounded.
Add to that, the 62mm filter size and I can start to see why Pentax opted for the 28mm on the wide end and variable aperture.

Its a value all rounder FF zoom that isn't too big nor heavy.
I can understand that.

I assume it will cost less than the tamron considering that there is no VR on this unit right? Having said that the rebadge tamron 24-70 wasnt the case

... and the non-VC Tamron in Sony mount has the same RRP and a higher street price than its VC siblings in Canon and Nikon mounts .

The 24-70 had Anomalous Dispersion glass in the Pentax version, which wasn't in the Tamron. That's generally a more expensive material than the regular glass it replaced (though IDK if it's worth the price difference). Until we see the construction of the new 15-30, we probably shouldn't be quick to compare the prices.

so the K1 and 15-30mm is roughly 2kg together... holy sh** ... Fortunately I dont have the need for ultimate image quality and would go for the K3II + Sigma 10-20 (1,2kg) or OMD EM5II + 7-14mm (0,9kg) options...

You are looking at the issue the wrong way. You measure 'pro' gear by the kg. Everyone knows that. Other specs are secondary.

2kg for lens and body barely meets the requirements for 'pro'. Should be at least 3kg.
