The prices in Japan are 270,000 yen (over $2,000?) for the 15-30mm and 97,000 yen (over $800) for the 28-105mm.
I'm sorry, but IMO they look a bit ugly... (mainly the kit zoom) c'mon Ricoh. But its the image quality that counts!

At that price I will probably just get the body. I'm good on lenses.

At the projected price of the 15-30, after purchasing an F1 I may be obliged to opt for a pinhole body cap.

The 28-105mm looks small and seems to be quite light at 440g.

Well, that's everything from the Roadmap now ... except for the DA 12-28, which seems to just slip down the order continually. It's been there waiting for so long. I guess APS-C lenses are not a priority at this stage.

Paul the Sunman I think,
your 12-28 will be the 15-30.

I've been hoping for the 12-28 as an replacement for the apsc-only 8-16 from Sigma

I too do not like any of the new lens designs they are pushing out lately...

I for one love the DA* design for the classy look. For new modern lenses I would prefer the design of the 18-135mm WR. Before you say they look like it, no. I don't like the zoom range / aperture range. I prefer to see PENTAX | focal range.

At least I do not see the ugly red rings on these. Only positive I can take from any of this.

Just preference but now is the time for me more than ever to grab the original SMC DA limiteds. Those have the Pentax personality that made them unique. Not this new stuff..

Ricoh please see this thread because I'm not the only one that has complained about this.

$2000 for that ultra-wide would be a bit scary given the Tamron's $1199 price tag. That's even more than the Nikon 14-24mm!
