Fully agree.

True, but Tamron somehow also lost the race from Sigma.
What kind of race?
I am not interesting in financial results, I am interesting in good lenses.
Tamron has a technology for a long race with Sigma and use it very well in their products.
Maybe I will sound to someone like a heretic but almost every new Tamron lens is overall better than similar Sigma lens.
Most of the Sigma hype is based on marketing of word "ART" and sharpness only. That's not enough to be better than Tamron.
I was truly enthusiastic when I saw that new Pentax lenses are rebaged Tamrons.

The two Tamron lenses have been announced leaked by Digital Camera Info:

?????SP90mm F/2.8 MACRO VC???SP85mm F/1.8 Di VC????????????? - ????info

They are the SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD (Model F017), which seems to include the same optics as the current Model F004 but in a different package, and the SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD (Model F016). They will be proposed in Canon EF, Nikon F and Sony Alpha mounts, the latter without VC.

Announcement tomorrow. Japanese RRPs are ¥90,000 (same as Model F004 at launch) and ¥110,000 respectively, plus consumer tax.

The 90mm f/2.8 macro, I don't think so since there is the D FA 100mm macro WR; the 85mm f/1.8 would be pretty close to the FA Limited too. I think there are other gaps in the Pentax line-up to be stopped first.

At this point it would not surprise me if we see the Tamron 35mm, 45mm, & 85mm rebadged as the new FA Limited lenses replacing the 31mm, 43mm, & 77mm.

Maybe it will be close in terms of quality, but Tamron will be much cheaper and that is significant gap for me.
FA 77 is my most wanted lens for years but it costs 900 euros in my country and it never got any discount not even for 1 hour.
Contrary to that Tamron have better prices and frequent discounts and I hope I'll buy 85 f/1.8 during next christmas sales probably for the half of the price of FA 77. Until than I will continue to use my good old Takumar 85 f/1.8

Jun HIrakawada designed the 77mm and he now works for Tamron. He is probably behind the new prime lenses from Tamron.

Never

No, seriously - if they are rebadged, it will be done under the HD FA label. Bestowing the 'Ltd.' label on lenses designed by another company would be a major embarrassment, and these lenses have nothing of what the Ltd.s are known for.

I think DFA85/1.4 will be made for Pentax. 85/1.8 - I doubt. We have FA77/1.8.

Indeed but Tamron prices go down quickly. Less than one year after its announcement one can buy a lens at RRP minus 30 to 40 per cent.
