Me too. I'm done with waiting. I'm done with photography. I've sold all my camera gear and have started painting on canvas.

Slide reversal canvas is best.

In other news, I left Kohler for a new American Standard Champion 4. Comfort height, will flush a bucket of golf balls, and a non-stick surface for those special occasions. With the extended wax ring Shake Reduction/flex can vary from 1/4" to 1". Try that with your IBIS.

Just like that? I went to school for 5 years to learn to paint on canvas, and you just got it!!

Actually, I gave up waiting for Pentax FF few years ago, and went to Canon, bought full set of cameras, and lenses etc. Only to start suffering of back pains. Then sold it after I went to Europe and notices some guys shooting with a little small camera with small lenses: Leica.

Then got involved in Leica, and I have not seen back.

However, I have large collections of all type of Pentax lenses (which I never part with when I went to Canon), and am back with Pentax and my K3 ( a great camera). Not sure I will jump onto the K1. However, at the end I probably will.

My K-1 arrived this afternoon, with the optional Kit Lens the D*-MA KScope-1 Limited 49mm F16 prime.

The D*MA K-Scope-1 Limited 49mm is a specialty fixed focus lens where at F16, everything from 3ft to infinity is in focus, but with a colorful kaleidoscope effect.

The instructions say to hold the camera lens down by the extended tilt screen and shake vigorously to change the kaleidoscope pattern for more fun effects.

This only added $79.95 to the price of the body only K-1 and was well worth it for this stunning new optional lens.

Got to hand it to Ricoh, they really studied the market on this one. A real must-have!

PS: Rumor has it this lens will sell out fast and they don't plan a second production run, so get yours while supplies last!

Yeah because you know you waited for months or years and at that point a few days made all the difference. Not at all the features of the camera, the set of lenses or whatever. This was all about the huge issues to wait a few days more. All the rest was really a detail.

Honestly, I hope for you this wasn't the only reason and you only try rationnalize it this way... I mean there nothing wrong with buying a D810...

For us, it is positive news, that less wait for people that really want one K-1 ...
