Ahh how I think I'd enjoy working from home.. your own home, no commute.. plus, you can hop on the PF during break times..
'Commute' is about 3 minutes Downside is you are always at work. So if the phone rings at 9pm you are still at work.

Do you commute an hour or more to work daily? I know people here that do that.. even out of state! And it boggles my mind.
When we lived just north of Springfield MA, for a couple of years I worked in SE Connecticut - 75 minutes away, including driving on I-91 through both Springfield MA and Hartford CT.

+1 My commute time is 12-25 minutes depending on circulation. I tend to favor time were there isn't much traffic and don't hesitate to go on Pentax Forum for half an hour some days to wait a bit before coming back, this can save 5-10 minutes of commute time.

The most important resource we have on this life is our time, it never go back and often we don't really know when it will stop, could be tomorrow. So even if we spend ou time doing silly things that maybe not important, we should spend most of his time doing things we enjoy.

There also the cost of the car and all associated things. That money you can't be spent on other things like a trip/vacations, somebody to help you at home cleaning things... or buy lenses.

It used to take me 45 minutes to work, suburbs of Montreal to somewhere on the Island. Downtown forget it . The problem is the city is an island so the bridges get really jammed at rushour.

I hope you are right. I have seriously thought about returning my D-FA* 70-200mm after using it on my K-3. Not fast at all on the K-3. I keep holding out waiting for the K-1 to ship.

My 70-200 has been very quick on the K-3ii. Not much room for improvement on the K-1 although I am sure there will be some. It has been decisive and accurate.

She's incredibly important to me. We work very hard to keep the atmosphere positive and happy. I'm much nicer at work than here. I drive 250 minutes a week.

She is home at 5:00pm. I ask her to be at her desk 35 hours a week 48 weeks a year.

Then you'll be disappointed with the lens on the K-1 as well. The K-1 may remove some hesitation but it cannot speed up the internal AF motor of the 70-200.

According to Kenspro the lens is faster on the K-1.

It appears to be more of a latency issue with K-3. The IQ is excellent and AF-S is nice and quick with no hunting even in dim light, but AF-C when subject is doing more than walking towards you is not very good at all. My Sony A7II with 90mm macro tracks better in good light, but hunts like crazy in poor light.

As they corrected - in LV.

It was strange for me to hear it, because the user of DFA70-200 with K-3 said about good speed.

DSLR lenses are not made for LV but PDAF.

It is fast on K-3II, but faster on K-1 when i tested. The 70-200 is made specific for the K-1..Why he said that, i have no clue Of course, not D5 fast, but very fast in Pentax terms..hehe

This is the AF-C in the K3. DFA 150-450 is the same. Whilst not a game changer for me, I'm hoping for a significant improvement in the K-1 over the K3 performance on this aspect of focus performance.
