I agree... having said that, for the right subject matter and composition, those soft corners needn't be an issue... It limits the applications of the lens, but the centre looks good. I think you could still have a lot of fun and some great results with this lens in the right situations

He's about 10 years to late to be jumping on the APS-H format bandwagon, with FF being so cheap/more affordable nowadays (less then 2 G's for a new 36mp, less than 1G for a used FF).

dpreview published their studio test (using the wrong lens FA77 is great but not for ultimate sharpness especially corners). The good news is it looks at least half a stop better at high iso as the d810.

But if you look at the center areas, the pixel shift image seems to even beat the 645Z!

Pentax needs to hurry up and deliver a FF 645 version with pixel shift
